Update Contact Information


Contact information for practitioners can be updated within DAWSON. These instructions are also available as a PDF.


Practitioners

  • Practitioners can update their own contact information by ​clicking​ ​Edit​ on the My Contact Information section of their dashboard.
  • Updating practitioner contact information will automatically generate a Notice of Change of Address, Notice of Change of Phone Number, or Notice of Change of Address and Phone Number that will be filed and served in each of the practitionerʼs open cases, and any case closed within the past 6 months.
  • REMINDER: Each person admitted to practice before the Court shall promptly notify the Court of any change in contact information. See Rule 200(e), Tax Court Rules of Practice and Procedure.
  • Practitioners may also update client contact information within DAWSON.


Petitioners

  • A petitionerʼs contact information is updated by ​clicking​ ​Edit​ by the petitionerʼs name on the ​Petitioner​ tab under ​Case Information​ within a case.
  • Updating a petitionerʼs contact information will automatically generate a Notice of Change of Address, Notice of Change of Phone Number, or Notice of Change of Address and Phone Number in that specific case.
  • A petitionerʼs contact information will need to be updated separately in each of their cases.
